I didn’t really watch the Oscars so this came as a surprise to me when I was scanning the news. William Hurt was nominated for his performance in A History of Violence?
Now I liked the movie overall and believe me I have had to defend that position aplenty—but a number of my drunk friends have done the same gangster impression that Hurt did (and done it better).
