The Secret Book Club has managed to survive the near death of one of its members. It will no doubt be great material for the novel of the same name, although we’ll have to be careful to avoid lawsuits by changing the names of the characters.
Next up is Marilynne Robinson’s Gilead. Every time I pick up this book, I have a different reaction. It reminds me of a certain Tracy Chapman song…you know the one…
