Microsoft Word keeps track of when you created the document and when you last edited it. If you say you completed the assignment last week but forgot to turn it in, you may wish to hack the properties so it doesn’t reveal you for the sorry liar you are.
I respect the burnout who just didn’t feel like doing the work and will take his lumps for it but can’t stand those who think they can weasel out with lame excuses. It may take a thief to catch a thief—but you, sad sack, don’t waste my time!
